Sharing itinerary when i went to Taroko Gorge with this informative tour guide.
ITINERARY
09:00 Qixingtan - is not actually a beach but a cliff! And they also put fishing net there to catch fishes.
10:00 pass through traffic control point
10:55 leaving Swallow Grotto Trail
Here u can see chief head.
At tunnel of nine turns trail, we can see salmon tries to jump over the waterfall
And another one
11:40 leaving Tunnel of Nine Turns Trail
11:55 arrive Buluowan for lunch
Above is the buluowan map, it has suspension bridge and another trail.
13:00 guiding at Exhibition Hall
13:10 go for Shanyuan Suspension Bridge
13:40 go for Meander Core Trail

Shakadang trail is quite long, but we did not finish all probably just walk 30 mins and back.

As its not easy to build tunnel in the mountain, it cost 250 lives of workers who built it and to commemorate them, they built the Changchun Shrine.

Trails Information
Swallow Grotto: 300m+700m, one way go upstream.
Tunnel of Nine Turns: 700m*2, in and out via the same route
Suspension Bridge: 500m*2, in and out via the same route
Meander Core: 300m*2, in and out via the same route
Sakadang: 1.5km*2, in and out via the same route, suggest U-turn 40 mins later at 15:00
Changchun Shrine: 400m*2, in and out via the same route
If you don’t want to walk for whole way at those in and out via the same route, you may stay somewhere pretty and return bus on time. But remind you the Swallow Grotto Trail is different. You must go upstream 1000m to get on our bus.
